Krew Turns 3

I can't believe that Krew is now 3 it seems like yesterday he was born, but also that he has been in my life forever! I Love him so much he brings a lot of joy into our lives. He is so fun and everyday is like an adventure! He is so smart, I am always surprised at the things that he knows even just yesterday I asked him what he learned in nursery and he told us pretty much his whole lesson, about John the baptist. How they showed him the picture and he knew it was John the baptist and then told how he held Jesus and baptized him. I couldn't believe how much he had learned that day and what he told us, usually when I ask him he talks about the toys they played with and the songs they sang. anyway, He also helps a lot at home. He is always wanting to help me and actually does a good job, I don't feel like it's a chore to have him help me anymore. He is also so sweet and loving and polite. He always makes sure he says please and thank you. He is also I really good big brother, He sometimes has a hard time sharing and forgets that Gray is smaller than him but for the most part he is really sweet to Gray and is always aware of my belly, when he sits on my lap he will say oh no am I hurting baby brother, then pats my belly and says hi baby brother and kisses my belly. I know I'm rambling on and on about him I just love him so much and feel like the luckiest mom in the world to have him as my son. Happy Birthday Krew!!

A NEW BIKE!! He was so excited and couldn't wait to go outside and ride it.

Riding his bike, He has a little bit of a hard time peddling it, I know he will get it but he just gets so frustrated with it and wont ride it for very long.

Krew had a SUPERHERO birthday party with his friends it turned out GREAT!! It was so much fun! Thank you to all of Krews friends who were able to come and celebrate his 3rd birthday with us.

4th of July Festivities

Before I get into all the pictures I just want to say how grateful I am to the men and women who have/are serving in the military I am so grateful for all that they have done for us so that we can live in this free country! I love this country and I feel so blessed to be able to live here. The fourth of July is my favorite holiday for that reason, and because of fireworks of course.

We actually started our festivities on the 3rd, we had so much fun! We started the 3rd off with going to a sprinkler park in Memphis. It was a ton of fun we had to coax the kids into going into the water, at first they would just put their hands in. but by the end they were really enjoying it. I had never been to this sprinkler park and I must admit I thought it would have been bigger than it really was. I think I must have just been spoiled. In Rexburg we had a really fun and fairly big sprinkler park. So I was expecting this one to be even bigger, We had a ton of fun though! Here are the boys at the sprinkler park!

They had a really fun playground there too and the boys really liked the swings ( Well Krew liked them much more than Gray, Gray liked them for a bout a min and then decided he was done!)

That night we decided to go to our very first baseball game together to see the Redbirds. Krew was soooooo excited he brought his baseball bat and his baseball glove and couldn't wait till we got there. Until we walked in and he realized that he wasn't going to be the one playing baseball, he was REALLY disappointed. But he did get to pretend to play baseball with a bunch of his friends that had come, so he felt better.

After the game they had firworks Krew didn't like them very much because they were really loud. They set them off right on the field, we even had a few ashes fall on us. I LOVED IT!!

Gray loved it too he wouldn't take his eyes off of them. It was really fun and I'm glad we were able to go the only thing that might steer us away from next year is the fact that we waited in line in the parking garage for an hour and a half just to go home.

We went swimming and had a bbq with a bunch of friends from our ward. It was a BLAST!!! We had so much fun. We have gone swimming a couple of times already this summer and decided Krew needed floaties bcs he kept wanting to jump in by himself and swimming by himself. Those have been such a wonderful purchase, He LOVES it and he's really good at swimming now. Its a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because now I don't worry about him, and bad because now I don't worry about him!

After the swimming and bbq We went and watched fireworks. We had so much fun and glad that we have good friends here to help us have fun since we weren't able to spend the 4th with family as planned. We love you Cannon family and pray for you all every day!!
