pre pregnancy pants

that's right yesterday I tried on my pre pregnancy pants and they actually fit me. Every once in a while I would try them on to see if I had gotten smaller at all and it was usually disappointing. But it finally happened, I was very excited, So I thought that I would share my excitement.

Bath time

Here are some pictures that i took of Krew after giving him a bath I thought he looked so cute in his little robe. He just is swimming in it. I love giving him a little bath because he smells sooo good afterward. I love the smell of babies. oh and another thing that I love is baby hair. It's so soft. My favorite thing to do when I'm holding Krew is to rub my cheeks on his head I know it sound kind of weird but it's so soft. I love it, And I love him soooooo much !! 

"Our Little Burrito"

Krew really likes to be swaddled whenever he sleeps.  So every night we put him in to bed wrapped real tight like, and it never fails... Diedre says, "Oh he is just sooooo cute, my Little Burrito".   At first I was a little surprised by it and didn't think it quite appropriate, but the more I think about it the more it fits.

1) I Loooove Burritos

2) Burritos are often tied to gas.

3) Burritos are little bundles of joy conveniently wrapped in tiny packages.

So our dear son has his first little nickname, "OUR LITTLE BURRITO"!!!

Oh So Sleepy!!!

This was last week, as you can tell we were a little tired, Krew just wears us out some times but, he is so much fun!! We love sitting around looking at his cute expressions and the ways he holds his hands. He is so cute and we love him so much even thought he tires us out some times. Brandon stayed up with him all night Wednesday night. He thought he would give me a little break, and do all of the feedings. I don't think that he realized how big of a job that it could be. He stayed up with Krew from 10:00pm-5:30am he just wouldn't go to sleep. Poor Brandon, He is the best husband in the world. He has been so great with everything, Always so helpful!! I keep telling him that Krew just misses him so much when he's at work that he just wanted to stay up to be with him all night, he gets mommy all the time, he really misses his daddy. Brandon just rolls his eyes at me when I say it. Anyway, We just love our little Krew so much and really happy that he is here.

Krew's New Photo Shoot

Diedre and I did a little photo shoot with Krew yesterday because it was my day off of work for the week.  So we got him good and drunk (on breastmilk that is) so he could sleep through anything and did a lot of fun poses with him.  This is just one of the pictures that we really loved and wanted to share with all of you.  The rest we are going to be putting on our baby announcements to sent out to family and friends.  I just think that he is the cutest little guy ever.  Even though he did throw up all over both of us about 20 seconds before this picture was taken.

This is My favorite picture! It was taken at the hospital, Brandon picked him up and just did this I said don't move, I had to get the camera because I thought it was so sweet. Brandon is such a wonderful daddy. He is so sweet to Krew, I love watching him hold him. He is so tender, He loves his little boy so much! And  I love both my Boys!!

Krew Brandon Sloan

Krew is finally here!!!!  He was born last night July 7th of 2008 at apporximately 8:59 pm!!  In the blue corner we have Krew Sloan weighing in at 7lbs 2 ozs with a 19 1/4 inch body length!!  He is a fighter Diedre went into the hospital around 5 am yesterday morning and she got induced soon there after.  After her first contraction (that showed up on the monitor) she turned to me and said, "That is a contraction...?  I have been having those for 2 weeks just thinking that he was being a little stinker kicking my ribs!!"  So she attempted the natural thing for about 12 hours and then decided to get an epidural.  She kept apologizing to me that she got one, then I said, "You should be sorry, sorry that you didn't get it 6 hours earlier!!"  It was sooooo incredibly hard to see her in pain so it was nice to see her rest a little after the shot.  But now we have a wonderful baby boy and the doctor said that he was a perfect ten on the national infant test!! Which is a perfect score, so he has already been perfect in one thing in his life... SHOW OFF!!!!  We love you Krew and are so excited to have you in the family!! There will be a lot more pictures to come!!  

Krew update

I've been trying to post pictures on for the past two weeks but every time I try the internet goes bad, then I try to post things and the internet fails right when I get done typing so lets hope it works this time.

Here's just a little update on my little Krew, I went to the doctor on Thursday and he said that everything is going GREAT my progression is slow but coming along. If he doesn't come by Tuesday then the doctor is going to induce labor. So I will have my baby boy by the 8th, which is really exciting. I can't wait to hold my little baby boy. We keep telling him every night that it's really fun out here and that we would really like to have him out so we can play with him. But everyday he decides he would like to stay in a little longer. I keep saying he's just as stubborn as his daddy. He doesn't want anyone telling him what he has to do, he will come when he wants to come. Brandon's dad is coming in to town today, and I really hope that Krew will decide to come this weekend so that his Grandpa Sloan can see him and hold him, But I guess we will see. Cross your fingers! I'll let you know what happens!
