Happy Cinco de Mayo

I had the BEST birthday ever thanks to my wonderful amazing husband. He didn't have to work on my birthday which was so nice he let me sleep in and made me a great breakfast Bacon and sausage egg mcmuffins mmmmm they were gooooood. Then he got a babysitter to watch Krew an he took me on a treasure hunt all around Rexburg since this is our last birthdays here. He wrote poems for the clues and I had to drive to the exact place or know the right answer to get a gift it was soooooo sweet and a ton of fun. Here are the poems he wrote for each one.

Today for your birthday I made a treasure hunt Treat

At each location you will find a small gift

You’d better be thorough and you’d better be swift.

We will go on a journey that might be a pain

We will skip down the road they call memory lane.

We have lived quite a while in this quaint little city

So now we’ll test your memory of every itty bitty.

The first destination you couldn’t have missed

It’s a place where a “Beauty” and a “Beast” first kissed.

Congratulations on solving your first little clue

Now eat your chocolate while the next you pursue.

It lies in a place that is quite simple and plain

In a tree by the place we made out in the rain.

You might notice a trend of places spent kissin’

The next one is harder so be sure to listen.

Located in the boonies where there is no king

Look under the board of one popular swing.

We’ve lived at “Greenbrier”, we’ve lived at “The Village”

Pirates of real estate many apartments we’ve pillaged.

Pistachios curbed hunger and crystal light thirst

This is the apartment you and I did live first.

During each pregnancy you might have felt queasy

Sorry if you think that this treasure hunt is cheesy.

Your next destination is a wonderful place

in which we first saw our second son’s face.

This is no emergency so don’t ask them what for...

You might try the side by the post partum door.

Once upon a time there was a romantic surprise

Engaged we had lunch of unusual size.

The place that I bought it is the place you must go

What was the meal? Now that you must know.

For if you do miss just one little thing

I’m sorry my sweetie the fat lady will sing.

No more clues will be had, no more gifts will be sent

That’s right unless you order one hundred percent!

(We forgot to get a picture here but Brandon took me out to wingers for lunch I had to order a sticky finger wrap and extra fries with ranch and creamy amazing on the side. With out me knowing Brandon gave the next clue to the waiter and told him that if I ordered correctly to put the clue in my meal so when he gave me my meal I looked down and a piece of paper was hanging our of my wrap that was really cool.)

The entertainment’s a film, the floor is quite rocky

Up are the stars, we mostly played tonsil hockey!

We went home and relaxed for most of the day then we had a few friends over for ice cream cake and to watch lost

Here I am with my 2 favorite little boys in the whole wide world!!

Krew and I were very excited for the ice cream cake it was so hard to resist!!

Thanks to my amazing husband for giving me such a wonderful 24th birthday. I love you so much hun!
