video's of Krew

I just took these videos of Krew and thought I would share. They are pretty funny.

This video is Krew trying to get a binky and shows his new favorite things... clapping and nodding his head with his mouth open. I think it's really funny, when he does the head nod Brandon calls him Ed, he thinks that he looks special Ed when he does it. I think that it's really cute.

Krew picked up this case for a thermometer and blew I thought it was so funny, he is definitely going to be a musician.

Swimming

Yesterday we went to Heise warm springs to go swimming. This was the first time that Krew had ever gone swimming. We had so much fun he was so cute in the water, here are some pictures that we took of him.

He was so exhausted by the end right when I put him in his car seat he fell asleep!
I love this kid so much!! He makes everything so much more fun!

What a week!!

This past week has been one adventure after another:

Monday 4th~ Brandon took  my poor sister in-law to the hospital because she was throwing up blood, she has an ulcer on her stomach right on an artery, yeah it's not really good, we have been praying for her she has been in and out of the hospital this whole week.

Tuesday 5th~ was my birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! I had such a GREAT day, Brandon made me feel pretty special, He got me a wii fit so that is pretty much what I did from 9-1 while Brandon was studying for his Optometry admission test. When Brandon got  back  We went to visit our sister in-law in the hospital. She had been waiting all day to get in so they could do a scope on her ulcer, and right when we showed up they took her to do her scope. I must have been good luck :) We then left to eat dinner, Brandon made me spaghetti and meatballs with cheese bread mmmm it was good. Then we had cake (ice cream cake which I have had every birthday since I can remember, it's my favorite!) Krew Gave me his gift which was a panoramic puzzle of time square new york. So of course that is what brandon and I did the rest of the night after we put Krew to bed. It was really nice to just relax and hang out with my husband. Thank you baby for making my birthday so wonderful!!

Wednesday 6th~ Brandon spent most of the day studying and worrying about the Optometry admission test. Emily came hope from the hospital so we went to visit her at home and had more ice cream cake with them and they gave me their present which was scrapbooking paper woo hoo I love scrapbooking paper, thanks again you guys!! Brandon needed to wake up early so he could get to his test on time, so we went home and went straight to bed at 9:00 Brandon only got 1.5 hours of sleep.

Thursday 7th~ Brandon left for Pocatello to take his OAT at 5:30 am. He called me at 12:00 giving me the BEST news ever!! He got a 370 out of 400 on the test, which is in the 98.7 percentile. The average test score to get into optometry school is a 320, so hopefully this means we basically get to choose which school we would like to go to. I knew Brandon would do well, I wasn't worried about that but,I'm so proud of him he works soooo hard, he definitely deserves this. So to celebrate we went out to dinner to apple-bees, and I gave him a watch in congratulations.
Thursday was also Krew's 10 month birthday he's getting so old. I can't believe how much he is growing up.

Brandon's OAT scores, WAY TO GO!!

Krew 10 months old

Friday 8th~ was Brandon's Birthday Happy birthday baby!! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband, he means the world to me. I love every thing about him even the quirky little things that he does. I love that he gets obsessed with the smallest things, and when he thinks of something he has to do it at that moment or he goes stir crazy. I love that he will listen to a song over and over and over again until he knows all of the words. I LOVE when he sings, I think he has the most wonderful voice. I love that kids flock to him where ever he goes, kids just love him and he loves them back. I love that family means more to him than anything he loves family and would do anything for family. And it doesn't hurt that he is VERY good looking. I love you I.....
We went to the park and had a little picnic and played on the play ground then fed a few ducks that were out in the park. It was such a beautiful day, we took a bunch of pictures.
Since Barton and Emily are moving in July, this Birthday might be the last birthday that Barton and Brandon might have together in a while so Emily and I decided to throw them a surprise party. We only invited a few close friends. It went so well. We told Brandon and Barton that one of their gifts was to spend some time together and go to the riot zone in Rigby which is about 20 min away, it was kind of our excuse to get them out of the house so we could get things ready for the party. We had a pretty good turn out and had a lot of fun. Emily and I made cup cakes and had a few things for people to snack on, We played a few group games and just hung out and talked. It was a blast. The boys were so surprised. They had no clue!! I was very glad because I am NOT good at keeping secrets when it comes to things like this I get so excited and so nervous that I'm going to slip up that sometimes I do. But we had a great time.
Here we are playing at the park. It was such a nice day out.
When they walked in and realized that everyone was here for their birthday..........second  picture is a staged surprised look.
They are now 25!!
almost everyone that came!! Thanks everyone it was a BLAST!!!

Saturday 9th~ Krew got sick, he threw up in his crib it was pretty gross, I don't know when he threw up because he didn't wake us up so for all I know he was sleeping in it GROSS!! So he slept most of the day which was really nice because my stomach was hurting a little too, and Brandon started his new landscaping job so it was just me and Krew.

Poor kid he was so exhausted

Sunday 10th~ My FIRST official mothers day! I LOVE being a mother I think it is the most wonderful job in the world!! I feel so blessed to be able to be a mother. I have the best little boy in the world. I never knew I could love someone so much, He makes me so happy. Yes some days are hard but then he smiles up at me or laughs or snuggles up to me. those are the moments that make everything worth it. My mom said to me the other day "Remember always how important it is to be a mother.  All the sacrifices that you make are really giving up what is less important for something of greater value." My mother is so wise, I love her and appreciate her and all that she has done for me and my siblings, She has always been there for me and teaches me more all the time, I love you mom.
Brandon made me feel so special on mothers day ! He made me breakfast in the morning and got me a new book to read to Krew, He said that Krew told him that he loves when I read to him so he wanted to get me a book for mothers day! We went to church then we came home and Brandon made us Lunch and dinner, and he did the dishes. I have the most wonderful thoughtful husband! Happy mothers day to all!!

As you can tell we sure had an eventful week. Some very good things and some not so good things But I love my life, Everyday I feel more and more blessed. I have such a wonderful life with a wonderful husband who is so supportive and loves me for who I am, and a great kid who lights up a room with his smile. Thank you to everyone who has made my life so amazing!!

New decorations

My sister in-law Sami sells vinyl, so while we were there with her in Texas she made us a few things to decorate our walls with. I LOVE vinyl. She did such a great job. Thank you so much sami for doing this for us. If anyone would like to get vinyl for their home. She has an Etsy shop where she sells it. it's called evenly spaced. She also has some other really cute things on there that she sells, so even if you don't like vinyl you should check it out. Anyway here are a few pictures of the new decorations I put up in my home.

We put this quote in our bedroom, it is a saying that we said all the time right before we got married. it has a very special place it our hearts.

Krew's room has a monkey theme so we thought this would be appropriate I put two pictures so that you could see the more detail on the leaves. Cool huh I love this one.

This Vinyl is in our living room I really like this too. I think it's pretty neat.
I found this in one of my boxes at my parents house. I totally forgot I had it. I had been wanting to get a jewelry box or something because what I have now doesn't really hold everything. Anyway when I saw this I thought maybe it would work to hang my earrings and stuff and sure enough it does. I'm pretty pleased with it.

This is am easter basket that my mom and I made in March I had been meaning to post about it but for some reason I hadn't yet.

Wonderful sunday

Yesterday was such a wonderful day. We got to sleep in till 7:20 which was nice. Both lessons were wonderful at church. And we had an unexpected  surprise in Sacrament meeting. When we walked in there on the stand sat Elder Bednar and president Clark (president of BYU-I) I was shocked I turned to Brandon and said why is Elder Bednar here, apparently he was in Rexburg to talk at a CES fireside. And just chose a random sacrament meeting to go to and it happened to be ours.   It was a really nice sacrament meeting. Sister Bednar and Elder Bednar first spoke then Elder Bednar asked Our stake presidents wife, our stake president, President  Clark, and our bishop to bear their testimonies then he would follow. The spirit was so strong. It was such a wonderful experience there is no doubt in my mind that he is an apostle. I feel so blessed to have the gospel in my life, to know that families are forever, that Jesus Christ lives and loves us. He is always there no matter what, I trust him and love him, and I am so grateful for the wonderful sacrifice that he has made for each and everyone of us.

Easter pictures

For some reason we didn't post any easter pictures I know it has been a while but here are some pictures. Krew was so cute, of coarse he didn't really understand what was going on but he really enjoyed picking up the eggs and finding his basket. We had so much fun with all of the kids. they would get so excited about everything.

Brandon with the kids dying eggs the day before easter.
the Easter bunny left this poem out for the kids "The easter bunny came last night so listen heres the scoop he left a special treat for you a bit of bunny poop." with a trail of "bunny poop" (raisins), Krew just crawled right over to it and started eating the raisins. The kids were so grossed out that he would eat it until we told them that the Easter bunny had magical poop that was actually raisins. It was really funny.
Krew finding an egg
Krew needed a little help from his daddy to get his basket.
All the kids dressed up in their easter outfits after church.

We are back...

We have actually been back for almost a week. We flew in to Boise on Thursday the 23rd and stayed in Boise till Sunday. I was able to see my best friend Heather, who recently got married. I missed her wedding, it just happened that she got married right at the time that we were in Texas. It was hard knowing that I was missing her wedding. But she married a really great guy. I am very happy for her it was really nice to see them in their cute apartment.
While in Boise we also spent a lot of time with my family, my brothers kids kept wanting to play monopoly so we ended up playing monopoly twice and both times we ended it right when all of the territories were taken because the kids started to fight, it was actually quite fun until the fighting.  It was exciting for Brandon since he is a monopoly fanatic (has ~32 monopoly games as of right now).  We also went bowling, I am a TERRIBLE bowler, I don't think I have ever gotten to 100, that's how bad I am. But we had a lot of fun. my nephew who is 7 doubled my score. He had multiple strikes and spares, although he was using bumpers he rarely even touched them, and he incorporated a spin!! I couldn't believe it he was amazing!
We are now back in Rexburg getting into the groove of things again. Krew is sleeping much better now that he is in his crib which has been really nice. Brandon is studying about 5 hours everyday to get ready to take the OAT. So far with his practice tests he has been doing pretty well I am very proud of him he works very hard, I know he will do great on the test.
Here are a few pictures of my best friend Heather and Brandon Krew and I bowling with my family

Here is Heather with Krew and I.  And Heather and her husband Sam with us.
The whole gang at the bowling alley.
Here is Brandon bowling, me, and then Thomas the amazing, his stance is priceless, would you believe that he got a strike right after this.
My brother Adam and his daughter isabel with Krew. Adam loved to sit and hold Krew, especially when Krew would snuggle up to him.
